Mapping & Brainstorming Masterclasses

Cities and places exist in space and time — and never stand still. Whether it is about coping with change, or finding more imaginative solutions to the challenges of cultural and spatial segregation, or combating poverty, the demand for learning new trans-disciplinary techniques for city-making is greater than ever.

Since the beginning, Noema has committed resources and skills to help civic leaders, artists and communities identify the unique assets and resources of places so that sustainable and creative solutions to local development can be found. In the past two years our team has led on a number of high-profile workshops and masterclasses both in the UK and Europe to train participants in the use of qualitative and quantitative mapping and creative thinking techniques as applied to placemaking.
